The Canoe Club’s mission has been to present straightforward food with a flair. The menu has consistently reflected a commitment to fresh, natural local and regional food. They have also made a conscious effort to offer food within an unusually broad price spectrum. Entertainment:
The Canoe Club offers live acoustic music six days a week from 7 to 10.
In most cases, the music consists of solo guitar (classical, Latin or jazz); piano (generally jazz standards with some Beatles/Billy Joel selections); piano-vocal jazz duo, and a myriad of other combinations. Almost invariably, the music is relatively subtle - of a low decibel nature - so as not to interfere with a normal dining experience.
